Thanksgiving

I am thankful for this holiday, I love the family get together, the big meal and a day to think of all things we have in our lives to be thankful for.
I am thankful that we have enough money to make a large meal. I am thankful we have such a beautiful family. I am thankful we have a place to gather.
I am thankful that I have talented parents that taught me to cook. I am thankful that they took the time to teach me all that they did.
I am thankful for every wonderful blessing I have in my life.

A month of thanks - day 28

I am thankful for sleepy smiles, bed time kisses and cuddly kids. I am thankful that I get to rock my two youngest to sleep. I am thankful my two oldest love to have bed time stories read. I am thankful for all our night time traditions.

A month of thanks - Day 27

I am thankful for my two sweet nephews. I love them both dearly and I love being an aunt. One of them is close to me and I adore spending time with little Jonathan, he is such a sweet baby. The other is far and while I don't see Jack as often as I would like, I still love him and have enjoyed watching him grow up. It is hard to believe that Jack was so premature when you see him now.

A month of thanks - day 26

I am thankful for home schooling. I am thankful I get to spend the week doing school different then we normally do. Instead of work books and reading lessons our week is thanksgiving themed. The kids are loving it. I am thankful I am able to be flexible with their education and do things the way we feel is right, not the way a textbook deems correct.

I made some bows for a good friend of mine ( well for her daughter's ) -


I also made a 1st birthday outfit for a sweet baby girl ( the shirt was made by my friend Heather, I made the matching tutu and headband )

A month of thanks - day 23, 24 and 25

I have been sick the last couple of days so I am combining my posts into one.

I am thankful for modern medicine.
I am thankful for a mom that still takes care of me, even though I am an adult.
I am thankful for a husband that takes over everything and lets me rest.

A month of thanks - day 22

I am thankful for family outings. Meal times are better with good conversation and living windows was much better having the family with. Alex and Destiny are always thrilled when Grandma and Grandpa come with us somewhere.
On that note, I am thankful that my kids have loving Grandparents on both sides. We are a lucky family.
