It is almost 2013, I finished my goal of making at least one item a week. With 2013 I plan on crafting a lot but I will probably only post about it once a month or so.
The last three weeks have been busy for us. Christmas plans and then I ended up getting sick. I did finish up at least one craft a week. Here they are -
Have a happy New Year everyone!
I started this blog to share with others the things I do as a mother. That will include product reviews, recipes, information on things I find important when it comes to my children and so much more!

What matters
My heart has been heavy ever since the recent school shooting. The moment the words splashed across the computer screen I was in shock, then came the anger and the tears. I just can not wrap my head around the desire to harm another person much less harm an innocent child. The night it happened I stayed up very late praying for the families affected. My heart just broke thinking of the mother's with empty arms that night, the father who will never get to see that child grow, the grandparents robbed of a grandchild, the sibling missing their brother or sister, the children without a parent and every one else that was missing someone.
The next morning facebook, my email and forums were just flooded with information, pictures, prayers and arguments over this. I knew people would use it to push their political agenda, push their ideals and others would just want to argue but I was floored at some of the comments. The rudeness, complete lack of tack and empathy. I just wanted to scream, to remind people that lives were lost and this was not the time nor the place for this. I just do not understand why people do this when tragedy strikes. I have heard every argument in the book about why people think it is okay but I strongly disagree with people when it comes to this, no matter what side of the argument they are one. This was a time for morning, for reflecting and for prayers. This was a time for sorrow, for remembrance and for the rest of humanity to band together in an effort to do something to help.
Twenty babies are no longer with their families, six adults were robbed of their lives. These are the things we should be reflecting on. Hold your babies a little tighter, kiss your spouse a little more, love your family with everything you have. You are blessed to have them and we should never forget those things.

May they rest in peace and never be forgotten.

Week 26, 27 and 28
I haven't kept up on posting but I have been crafting. We had strep run through the house and we all ended up sick so I have been slacking on the blogging.
Over the last few weeks I have been busy making bows, headbands and bow boards.
That is only a sampling of all the bows I have made in the last few weeks. I have been a busy girl.
Next week - more hairbows
